Roll Call Colour Sergeant Samuel H C Lake – March 24th 1945

Colour Sergeant Samuel Harold Charles Lake served with 7th (Light Infantry) Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Rhine Crossing, during Op Varsity.

Colour Sergeant Lake died on 24 March 1945, aged 25 years old. He is now buried at Reichswald Forest War Cemetery, Kleve, Germany.
