Rifleman Samuel Glass served with the 1st (Airborne) Battalion Royal Ulster Rifles, and took part in the D-Day landings to Normandy on 5-6 June 1944.
Rifleman Glass died on 7 June 1944, aged 22 years old. He is now buried at Ranville War Cemetery, Normandy.
