Roy Bernard Clements was the son of James Henry and Margaret Clements, of Kingstanding, Birmingham.

Clements successfully completed his parachute training at Ringway on 4 October 1946. It was noted that Clements "Improved with experience to a good man"

He was enlisted to Reserve Battalion at Telavera Barracks in Aldershot. Private Clements then went on to serve with 8th Batallion in Palestine.

He died on 5 April 1947 and is now buried in Khayat Beach War Cemetery, Israel.
