Roll Call Sergeant Ronald R Hall – June 6th 1944

Sergeant Ronald Rex Hall was the son of Ernest William and Ellen Louisa (nee James) Hall, and husband of Evelyn Elizabeth Hall, of Ilford, Essex. He served with 9th (Essex) Parachute Battalion and took part in the D-Day landings to Normandy on 5-6 June 1944.

Sergeant Hall died on 6 June 1944, aged 34 years old. He is now buried at Hottot-les-Bagues War Cemetery, Calvados, Normandy.
