Sergeant Ronald Franks

Sergeant Ronald Franks, son of Harry and Rose Franks, of Edgware, Middlesex, served with 1st Wing, Glider Pilot Regiment. He took part in the glider insertion to the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

He died on 22 September 1944, aged 25 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
