Roll Call Lieutenant Robert M Nelson – March 28th 1945

Lieutenant Robert Nelson, son of William and Mary (nee Benzie) Nelson, of Glasgow, served with 7th (Light Infantry) Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Rhine Crossing, during Op Varsity.

Lieutenant Nelson died on 28 March 1945, aged 40 years old. He is now buried at Reichswald Forest War Cemetery, Kleve, Germany.
