Roll Call Corporal Ralph R Underwood – November 2nd 1944

Corporal Ralph Richard Underwood, was the son of Percival Ralph and Amy Gladys Underwood, and nephew of Ann Rose Jones, of Bhusawal, Bombay, India. He served with 4th Parachute Battalion and took part in the North African campaign.

Corporal Underwood died of wounds on 2 November 1944, aged 23 years old. He is now buried at Dely Ibrahim War Cemetery, Algeria.
