Lieutenant Peter Warren Conway, son of Francis and of Violet Conway, of Sydenham. London, served with D Company, The 5th (Scottish) Parachute Battalion.
During an assault at the Acropolis on 6 December 1944, on Operation Manna in Greece, Lt Conway was killed.
He is now buried at Phaleron War Cemetery, Greece.
