Flight Lieutenant Peter Craske served with 48 and 512 Squadrons, No. 4 Group Royal Air Force.
On 5 June 1944 he was navigator on Dakota FZ. 647 that took part in Operation Tonga, the first drop into Normandy. His Dakota dropped 17 troops onto Drop Zone ‘N’.
