Gunner Oliver John Adams, son of Thomas and Kate Rose Adams, of Whilton, Northamptonshire and husband of Ellen Louie Adams, also of Whilton, served with 1st Airlanding Light Regiment. He fought during the Battle of Arnhem, Op Market Garden.
He died on 24 September 1944 aged 29 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
