Colonel Mark P Christie, OBE
Colonel Mark Christie was commissioned into The Parachute Regiment on 12 December 1987 and started his career in the Paras as Platoon Commander of 24 Platoon, B Company, 1 PARA.
He was later awarded the MBE for services in Afghanistan while Officer Commanding (OC) D Company, 2 PARA during Operation Fingal, and served as the Commanding Officer (CO) of 1 PARA SFSG from 2005-2007.
