Roll Call Private Leonard C Venn – March 28th 1943

Private Leonard Charles Venn, son of Charles and Hilda Margaret Venn, of Hele, Torquay, Devon, served with 1st Parachute Battalion. He took part in the North African campaign, during Op Torch.

Private Venn died on 28 March 1943, aged 21 years old. He is now commemorated on the Memorial at Medjez-el-Bab War Cemetery, Tunisia.
