Roll Call Private John M Hamilton – September 21st 1944

Private John Mallon Hamilton was the son of John and Margaret Mallon Hamilton, of Belfast, Northern Ireland, and husband of Robertena Hamilton, also of Belfast. He served with 156 Parachute Battalion and took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

Private Hamilton died on 21 September 1944, aged 26 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
