Roll Call Private John E Booth – September 24th 1944

Private John Edward Booth was the son the Edwin and Florence Booth, and husband of Joan Eda Booth, of Thornton Heath, Surrey. He served with 11th Parachute Battalion and took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

Private Booth died on 24 September 1944, aged 23 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
