Roll Call Private James O'Connell – January 3rd 1945

Private James O'Connell, son of Richard Patrick and Rose Ethel O'Connell, of Puddington, Cheshire, served with 13th (South Lancs) Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Allied response to the Ardennes offensive, during Winter 1944-5.

Private O'Connell died on 3 January 1945, aged 27 years old. He is now buried at Hotton War Cemetery, Luxembourg.
