Private James Edward O'Dell, son of James and Elizabeth O'Dell, of Kennington, London, served with 11th Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.
He died between 20-21 September 1944, aged 24 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem
