Roll Call Private Horace N Bainbridge, MM – February 3rd 1943

Private Horace Nathanial Bainbridge, son of Nathaniel Taylor Bainbridge and Frances Ida Bainbridge, of Gateshead, Co Durham, served with 1st Parachute Battalion. He took part in the North African campaign during Winter 1942-3. He was posthumously awarded the Military Medal for his actions in February 1943.

Private Bainbridge died on 3 February 1943, aged 30 years old. He is now commemorated on the Memorial at Medjez-el-Bab War Cemetery, Tunisia.
