Roll Call Private Henry R Impey – June 27th 1944

Private Henry Roland Impey was the son of Ernest Phillip and Florence Emily Impey, of Birmingham, and husband of Amy Edith Impey, of Acocks Green, Birmingham. He served with 8th (Midlands) Parachute Battalion and took part in the Normandy campaign, during Op Overlord.

Private Impey died on 27 June 1944, aged 30 years old. He is now buried at Ranville War Cemetery, Normandy.
