Harry Gunn the son of Mr and Mrs Harry Gunn of Stockingford, Warwickshire, enlisted in the Royal Army Service Corps and later volunteered for airborne forces.
Private Gunn was posted to 2nd Battalion, the Parachute Regiment and served on Operation Torch in North Africa.
Pte Gunn was killed in action on 27 December 1942 aged 23 years. He was originally buried in Beja Civil Cemetery and re-interred on 25 July 1944 to Medjez-El-Bab War Cemetery in Tunisia.
