OBITUARY
PTE GRAHAM KENNETH JOHN CIRCUITT
Graham Circuitt joined 2 PARA in July 1987 having passed out from Depot with 526 Platoon. His performance at the Depot was excellent. He was platoon GPMG champion, represented the Army at Colts rugby and was noted at this early stage as a potential JNCO. In the battalion he continued to excel both as an enthusiastic and popular member of his platoon and company and as a talented rugby player. A bright and promising career was tragically ended on 10th February when Graham was accidentally shot during a live firing jungle exercise at Sylvesters Camp in Belize. He died almost immediately, never regaining consciousness from his wound. He leaves behind in the battalion a great number of friends. Our deepest sympathy is extended to his parents and family at his sad and dreadful loss.

DRUMHEAD SERVICE
27 May '88
In memory of the Falklands Campaign 1982 and tragic death of Pte Circuitt on exercise, Belize 1988. A Drumhead service was held on 27 May 1988 to commemorate the sixth anniversary of the capture of Goose Green and to remember Pte Graham Circuitt who sadly was killed in Belize. The sun shone on the outdoor parade which was well attended by Pte Circuitt's family. The Rev David Cooper, 2 PARA's Padre in the Falklands took the service and gave a memorable address concerning service and sacrifice. Capt Guy Wallis, a Platoon Commander with A Company during the Conflict read the lesson with over 170 Falklands veterans attending along with those members of the battalion who have since joined. B Company entertained the Circuitt family after the service.
