Roll Call Driver George I Palin – June 10th 1944

Driver George Israel Palin was the son of George and Lydia Lilian Palin, and the husband of Dorothy Elsie Palin, of Birmingham. He served with 591 (Antrim) Parachute Squadron, Royal Engineers and took part in the Normandy campaign.

Driver Palin died on 10 June 1944, aged 38 years old. He is now buried at Ranville War Cemetery, Normandy.
