Roll Call Private George Bell – September 18th 1944

Private George Bell served with 7 Platoon C Company 11th Parachute Battalion. He was part of the 2nd Lift to Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

The aircraft carrying Barlow was shot down enroute to Arnhem.

Private Bell died on 18 September 1944, aged 24 years old. He is now buried at Wageningen General Cemetery, at Wageningen, west of Arnhem.
