Sergeant Geoffrey Edward Nelson served with 1st Wing, Glider Pilot Regiment. He took part in the invasion of Sicily, during Op Husky.
Sergeant Nelson died on 9 July 1943, aged 25 years old. He is now commemorated on the Memorial at Cassino War Cemetery, Italy.
