Private Frederick Reginald Harvey was the son of William Henry and Elsie Blanch Harvey; husband of Amy Rose Harvey, of Hele, Torquay, Devon. He served with 12 (Airborne) Battalion, Devonshire Regiment and took part in the Allied response to the Ardennes offensive.
He died on 16 February 1945, aged 24 years old. He is now buried at Venray War Cemetery, Limburg.
