Private Frederick F Brown
– May 5th 1946
Pte Fred Brown was enlisted into The Highland Light Infantry in World War II and volunteered for airborne forces.
He qualified as a military parachutist on Course 147 which ran at RAF Ringway from 1 to 19 January 1945, and served in the Defence Platoon, protecting the HQ of 5th Parachute Brigade.
