Private Ernest John Vine, son of Arthur William and Lilian Lucy Vine, of Worcester, served with 5th (Scottish) Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Greek campaign, during Op Manna.
Private Vine died on 27 December 1944, aged 23 years old. He is now buried at Phaleron War Cemetery, Greece.
