Staff Sergeant Ernest Frew

18 Sep 1944

Staff Sergeant Ernest Frew was the son of Ernest and Mary Frew, and husband of Gertrude Lilian Frew, of Walker Gate, Newcastle-on-Tyne. He served with G Squadron and may have been in 10 Flight, 1st Wing, Glider Pilot Regiment and took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.
