Roll Call Lance Sergeant Eli J Vickerage – February 5th 1944

Lance Sergeant Eli Joseph Vickerage, son of Eli and Ada Vickerage, of Rawmarsh, Rotherham, Yorkshire, served with 5th (Scottish) Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Italian campaign during Winter 1943-4.

Lance Sergeant Vickerage died on 5 February 1944, aged 28 years old. He is now buried at Sangro River War Cemetery, near Taranto, Italy.
