Roll Call Private Edward Young – March 15th 1943

Private Edward Young, son of Mr and Mrs G W Young, of Maesteg, Glamorgan, served with 2nd Parachute Battalion. He took part in the North African campaign, during Op Torch.

Private Young died on 15 March 1943, aged 20 years old. He is now buried at Tabarka Ras Rajel War Cemetery, Tunisia.
