Roll Call Corporal Edward J Bartlett – July 14th 1943

Corporal Edward John Bartlett, son of Edward Thomas and Mary Ann Bartlett, of Ware, Hertfordshire, served with 3rd Parachute Battalion. He took part in the invasion of Sicily, during Op Husky.

Corporal Bartlett died on 14 July 1943, aged 21 years old. He is now commemorated on the Memorial at Cassino War Cemetery, Italy.
