Sergeant Douglas Charles Follington, son of Charles Samuel and Marian Elizabeth Follington, of Pirton, Hertfordshire and husband of Elsie Follington served with 2nd Wing, Glider Pilot Regiment. He flew to Arnhem during Op Market Garden.
He died on 17 September 1944 aged 26 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery.
