Sergeant Bertie White, son of Abraham and Elizabeth White, served with 156th Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.
He died during the Battle between 18-19 September 1944, aged 32 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
