Sergeant Arnold Ashworth, son of Arthur and Nellie Ashworth, of Leeds, Yorkshire, served with 11th Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.
He died on 18 September 1944, aged 26 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
