Roll Call Lieutenant Alfred Lagergren – January 3rd 1945

Lieutenant Alfred Lagergren was the son of Alfred and Mary Lagergren, of Methil, Fife, and husband of Catherine Lagergren, also of Methil. He served with 13th (South Lancs) Parachute Battalion, formerly the 2/4th Bn, South Lancashire Regiment. He took part in Battalion deployment to the Ardennes in Winter 1944-5.

Lieutenant Lagergren died on 3 January 1945, aged 31 years old. He is now buried at Hotton War Cemetery, Luxembourg.
