Roll Call Private Albert H Newman – September 25th 1944

Private Albert Henry Newman, son of Samuel J T and Emily May Newman, of Dunchurch, Warwickshire, served with 3rd Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

Private Newman died on 25 September 1944, aged 24 years old. He is now commemorated on the Memorial at Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery, near Nijmegen.
