AIRBORNE ASSAULT MUSEUM
Airborne Assault is the Regimental Museum of the Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces and tells the stories of the soldiers who go to war from the air.
Airborne Assault traces the history of the Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces from its inception to the present day, including operations in Afghanistan. Providing an insight into how today’s highly trained paratroopers are at the heart of 16 Air Assault Brigade, the Army’s rapid response force.

ParaData is the official web based, multi-media digital archive of the Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces Museum.
Its purposes are to educate; commemorate and remember those who have lost their lives, or put themselves at risk, in service of the public; and to promote the exprit de corps of serving airborne personnel.
ParaData's mission is “To provide an easily accessible, definitive introductory history of the British Airborne Forces for the public and serving soldier.”
It aims to be unique in linking historical records of units, operations, equipment, events and personnel from the formation of British Airborne Forces to the present day. No other website or digital archive provides this.
ParaData is not run for profit. Any proceeds from sales orders are used to assist the museum meet the running costs of ParaData.
To help keep overheads down ParaData is run by a small part time volunteer team. Interest in ParaData is high so please bear with us if you experience delays in replies to queries or processing contributions.
