Bombardier Albert Farndon

Bombardier Albert Farndon enlisted into the Royal Artillery (RA) during World War II. His service included time with E Troop, 4th Airlanding Anti-Tank Battery, RA.

He qualified as a military parachutist on Course 153  which ran at RAF Ringway from 12 to 24 February 1945. Albert's jump instructor noted this about him:

"Average parachutist. Unobtrusive, and has worked well throughout the course"
